The last resort option that we have would be to buy the digital copy for 24£?
This is incredibly frustrating, I want to put in a ticket but that would mean having to agree to terms which include:
I am frustrated at the thought of losing my free 30 days after supporting the game and Square Enix by pre-purchasing. Hopefully we'll get some official statement soon, because until we do I'd rather not agree to those terms.
Considering the leaflet inside the actual collectors edition box has a section marked with the following..
..it is completely unacceptable that we might have to forfeit our 30 day free paid service, considering our current problems are a result of their direct instructions. This should not be deemed acceptable by anybody who finds themselves in our situation.
I'm hoping as an "alternative" I can talk them into crediting my account for 2 months play time and then having me repurchase the game and simply deleting the second account that got created (Standard edition)
Let's hope whoever is next on the Queues will have some answers for us.
4 hours waiting on queue to get cancelled? is this for real SE? and yet you have say nothing about this? come on...
You have got to be kiddin' me... I was snopping around this database https://squareenixen.custhelp.com, and I just noticed the exact same problem that happened with me happened during V1.0 as well. The solution found at the time was much simpler:
I wanted to transfer my Open Beta account, but accidentally created a new FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Account. What can I do?

He doesn't mind us conducting trials so close to his bazaar, so long as he's properly compensated... Yes, Portus, we pay him in sorcery-blasted bird flesh. - Cocobygo
I'd go as far to say all of there websites are trash, You have to log in multiple times, all different lay outs. what of the concept of having everything together flowing nicely? I too registered a 2nd service account when trying to add my CE code. Complete crap. Very annoyed at the web design. It went from bad to worse. I'd far rather just quit at this point if the issue isn't resolved the way the costumer wants.
