RAXX, try checking out this blog and some of the comments about AMD HD3D, quite informative: http://3dvision-blog.com/?s=hd3d
Hi, I wonder if normal TV 3D glasses work with this or not? or I need to get Nvidia Gforce 3D glasses only?
How?
I've got a Phenom II x4 955@3.6
ATI 5770
and 8gb of ram running at 720P and I'm no where near getting 50-60 fps constant? I barely maintain 45FPS and get major slowdowns in towns.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
I like to know that too seeing how that video card is cheap vs your 5770. Because if that so then i buy that video card for my new build over a 5770 lol.

I stand corrected lol just opening my fat mouth before running the FPS tests srry bout that It's just that everything runs smooth for me so i'm thinking it was running pretty good FPs but i actually ran the FPS in the iz3d driver and i was getting 15-25 lol.
15-25FPS and you running smooth o.o for me 30FPS start lagging and that the FPS i sometime get in Town. But not bad well sadly you can't play 3D with 15-25FPS. When you play a game in 3D you playing it x2 the fps of the game so you have to run the game on 60FPS without lag or issue. Then the game need to run at 120FPS without lag and issue at least that how i see many ppl setting up 3D for FFXIV they say that 3D put a big load on your FPS so you need a pretty good set up.
If you have the money for it then go for it if not then just wait 2-3years like i am to buy myself a 3D system to play ffxiv under 1500$

No problemit just cost to much to do a 3D you may even have to get two good video card to do it with good Setting. I mean one good video card at 720p 3D med setting but if you want the best setting then
going to cost you a hell of a lot more 1k to set up.
Once i get the money i like to try and set up system with 2 video card and overclock with water cooling and try out 3D just to show my friend 3D playing all the time i think my head would hurtgood way to show off to friends and family tho
