Can you change race using the Phial?

Yes you can.

Fantasia grants you a single opportunity to edit your character.
You will be allowed to change your race, gender, appearance, date of birth, and patron deity.
*Your starting class and name cannot be changed.

Can you change race using the Phial?

You can change everything but your name, starting city and starting class. But you have to make sure to remove all equipment except for main hand before changing your character data.
