Seriously low FPS

My system exceeds the min requirements in every way, but I get sub-25 fps everywhere I go.

My system:

i7 950 @ 3.4GHz
GTX580 (815/2030)
6GB RAM (2000Mhz)


So will there be some optimizations, or is this the limit of the FPS available to me. My rig is far in excess of minimum requirements and I can't see myself subbing if this is the case.

Edit - all settings on normal or OFF, 720p resolution fullscreen window on 1080p monitor.

What settings and resolution are you playing on? If you think you can play with 60 fps at maximum settings 1080p with that rig, I have bad news for you. They've already done enough optimizations since Alpha and we've all seen massive increase in fps on both AMD and NVIDIA. Maybe it's a driver issue. Without giving more details, your post means nothing.

it's you. I'm running on a 700 dollar toshiba laptop (3.3ghz i7, ati 7670m 2gb, 6gb ddr3 ram) and I get between 30-55 fps depending on the location, and that's on medium/high settings. May want to check your drivers and such, and make sure the game is running on the 580 (idk if your board has cpu graphics or not). Anyroad, it's not the game.

Heres your problem, you exceed the MINIMUM requirements. Thats just to get the game to run nothing about how well it will run, make sure drivers are upto date etc etc usual maintenance and what not.

Im using a similar system 560ti and 8GB RAM and have 30FPS or more everywhere I go so far on max settings.

Not overheating, latest drivers crash (after 314.** on many different cards), Lemon8tor don't act like an ***, ask nicely for more info or sod off.

I wasn't expecting solid 60, I was hoping for 40ish though.

1280*720 res, window fullscreen.

Definitely a problem on your end somewhere, my wife's PC is a step down from yours in all 3 categories (i7 920, gtx560, 4 GB ram), and she runs 60 fps 1080p at high PC default. I would try out some different driver's for you graphic card.

I have a 1st gen i3 @ 2.3ghz, a crappy ati radeon mobility 4550 with only 512mb and 4gb ram.
I'm somewhat near the min, if not lower (I got awful score on benchmark).

Yet I play okay with all on normal, except shadows and antialiasing and stuff.

There's definitely something wrong. I'm playing on a 2011 MacBook Pro, and I can play with everything maxed at around 30 - 40 fps (drops to mid 20s in cities). I did notice that I recently upgraded my video drivers, and I saw a jump in frames of about 15 fps. I have an AMD videocard though.
