Wow, that sucks ass. I hope you get that fixed, I too am in a battle with getting in touch with Square Enix's support, been waiting for a while now.
Did your wife bought CE? I bought CE and they gave me 30 days subscription once I put in my CE code on Mogstation.
For normal edition, I have no idea.

Are you kidding, or are you just that entitled?I'm not sure what the deal is with your wife's account not updating correctly, but for us v1.0ers... We pretty much got a knife in our backs. The only way for us to actually play is to renew the subscription(we got the game for free, I think). And if you bought a collector's edition, we were meant to do the digital upgrade on the mogstation or buy the PS3 Collector's edition.
We got a free copy of ARR, and don't forget about the many months of completely free game time during 1.0. SE could have very easily made us pay subs back then, and easily made us pay for a new copy when ARR was released. Not to mention, 1.0 players got to keep some of the legacy servers which means any old friends would be there with you.
The only thing we should have got as 1.0 players, was guaranteed beta and EA without pre-orders. Aside from that, 1.0 players should be the last ones complaining right now.
Oh well I will just write it off as a bad investment and move on no use complaining about it because until SE addresses the problem there's nothing anyone can do for me anyway. Judging by the way SE Support is I am not gonna try to turn blue in the face from holding my breath.
Well well well just an update.... I called the vendor I purchased my Early Access pre-order from and they completely canceled my order and I will NOT be charged for this game which in my opinion has been nothing but a head ache from the first day I got it back in 2010 as I am a v1.0 user I feel a little better that I didnt lose money on this game after allGood luck to all.......
