It's not that I don't believe this, but where did they get these numbers. People are way too trusting of random numbers on the internet.

I see the link, I doubt vgchartz source. Because the only people with access to the information of how many digital orders they process is Square Enix, and anyone square enix tells. And you're not going to convince me that SE told VGchartz how many games they sold. Until someone can show me how VGchartz gets their numbers, I'm going to be apprehensive of trusting their numbers.

Retailers report to SE how many units sold, SE then reports units sold to its investors, those reports are [usually] open to the public. So, that's HOW vgchartz gets it data. If you're looking for the source data, probably going to have to ask Vgchartz where they get that.I see the link, I doubt vgchartz source. This is probably me being stubborn but a pet peeve of mine is people just pulling numbers out of their butt just because they can and most people believe it if they say "our sources". I've always been critical of any kind of stats like this, and tend to not even trust the devs for these numbers.Retailers report to SE how many units sold, SE then reports units sold to its investors, those reports are [usually] open to the public. Which is understandable and if you look at my previous response to the main post, VGChartz doesn't report digital sales (at least last time I researched them), only retail box copies, so the numbers in this case aren't accurate. But, the numbers they do report for box sales are fairly accurate. This is probably me being stubborn but a pet peeve of mine is people just pulling numbers out of their butt just because they can and most people believe it if they say "our sources". Actual quote, some embellishments.
Not that I'm one to come to anyone's defense, but if anyone knows what they're talking about it better be a PsychicKoala, or my faith in koalas has been misplaced. Further, I think the numbers that are just pulled are the sales numbers. We're probably all at least mostly able to count to 25 with relative success.
What they need is to half the number of worlds and double the servers associated with the worlds. Giving more individual servers is not going to fix congestion on already established worlds without character transfer. We need more processing power pure and simple. They won't even acknowledge the need for more processing power. Like children with a broken toy they just keep saying "I'll fix it". Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me 3 times ok WTF, fool me 4 times alright enough already, fool me 5 times oh FFS just give up already and give us more processing power you CAN'T FIX IT. lolNot that I'm one to come to anyone's defense, but if anyone knows what they're talking about it better be a PsychicKoala, or my faith in koalas has been misplaced.
