    And you sir have just been pwned by the TOS. I take it you didn't read the TOS as you would have seen this section:

    11.2 Disclaimer of Warranties.     In essence, you did in fact pay for a game that may have servers down, and not be error-free. And if you did not want this, you had the option of a refund BEFORE, you accepted the TOS when you started playing in EA and registered your early access code

    @ Kheda - can understand that you saw what they're saying, but..... the second part of your statement.... not as much, can you clarify please?

    If you dont get Early Access to the game because of game errors. You have a few options.
    1. Wait it out.
    2. Contact support and maybe they can help
    3. Contact support and ask for a refund of the difference in price for the Pre-Release version VS Regular Release version of FFXIV because even an exculpatory clause does not excuse negligence. "If not, but for the game not working, You would not have to ask for a Prorated refund."

    That's not recompense. That's the "grace period" to allow for the fact that they also haven't sent out the registration codes which people are supposed to get for owning the game. That has nothing to do with compensating for the downtime; they'd do it even if there'd been no downtime, because otherwise people who had bought the game would be unable to play at launch because no one has any registration codes. (The preorder codes are, at least so far as I've been told, only for early-access and don't let you actually play post-EA except during that short grace period.)

    The problem is you would have to show negligence, which in this case there has been none.
