    They dont want to make the same mistake they did with Side quests the first time and have them and their monsters offer nothing but the end reward.

    Edit: Also, this is a step towards what they need to do with the current guildleves to balance their SP rewards. Instead of the monsters giving you the SP, the quest completion reward contains the sp, increased by the amount of links and difficulty (Just like the Gil completion reward)
