The server is full, try again later (1017)

About 10 minutes ago one of the servers I was on still let me queue, but now it seems like every server is giving me 1017 errors

I think the only "fix" we've had so far is that there weren't many people logged on this morning. It's going to be a disaster when the game actually launches tomorrow. Messy launches have happened to plenty of other games, but considering that this is basically a relaunch of a game (which is a huge risk in itself) I feel like SE should have put some extra effort into making sure their launch is flawless. Everyone's already anticipating this game with an extra critical eye, and this certainly won't help matters :/

I don't understand how they expect to survive launch at this rate. I am already fed up of trying to log in to the point of saying why bother even keeping my pre-order? Early access was a waste. I probably wouldn't have bought this game if I could see what people would have gone through just with the early access.

They fixed the issues by locking enough people out to keep the servers running. It'd be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

SE KNEW of the number of preorders roughly a week ago and could have set servers up to prepare but NO. They wanted to see how far they could get bare minimum before shit hit the fan and they actually wanted to impress people with how their game was remade? Yeah lovely first impressions because I don't think anyone has actually seen the new game past the starting town at this rate. A WEEK AGO THEY KNEW NUMBERS! This is only going to get worse now so I have no respect for them atm. Hell I lost respect for them since they become SE and stopped being SS who actually delivered quality content (yes not the same ball game anymore im aware).

Do they not realize that they make it seem they don't care about western audiences? Do they still have such little respect of our side of the world that they are stuck in the days when games were "Much to hard" for non-japanese and not everyone was equal in thinking capacity? If they are truly a company that wishes to make money and try to regain a foot hold in todays market they better act like it and not skim on the server software that runs your product to each customer!

Where is the idle logout so people don't just sit on a space all day, since who the their right mind is going to log off when it's impossible to even sit in a queue in order to get on?

This might be the single dumbest handling of login throttle I have ever seen.

I dont think its that. I just think its lack of planning is all. They outsourced alot of the US work.

It is pretty sad that the hardware prepared wasn't capable enough, but they stated they are still working on a solution, so this is not the final result at least. I'd be perfectly fine with a server move myself as most of the folks in my old LS didn't return or changed their names and joined others. I'm sure there's quite a few of us in this situation, and it would help dispersion overall.

After so many weeks of beta test, after you sold a lot of early access, after a lot of people bought the game, after you have received the money..... this is the shit service...!!!!

-I can't create a character on the server that I want
-I can't play with my friends
-I can't login on the server where i finally created a pg
-I change servers and even them there is the same problem
-I pay for something that i can't use

When you sell a game tell people that the game is a colossal fail...! I have played many mmo and that never happened. And you pretend now the monthly subscription?
I come home after work and what I read on my monitor is "YOU CAN'T PLAY"
I would like to get back my money, but i can't and is unfair. You don't respect the players.
