These types of errors were expected and they have been resolved as we continue to run into them, won't be much longer til all the errors are a thing of the past. If anyone should be in trouble, it should be the people in charge of letting the players know what's going on. It's gotten better, but earlier we'd go for hours before getting any notice at all. But firing them? That's ridiculous. This is prelaunch, early access remember, we're not entitled to 100% guarantees just yet. So SE should give everyone an ENTIRE month FREE for a few days that they didn't have to give us at all. Boy that sure sounds logical from a "business executive perspective." Oh wait, no that sounds idiotic. You'll get your preorder items and you'll be happy with them. Or, you can ragequit and we'll have to deal with one less impatient, self-entitled loser.

You mean "ahead of time" like last Friday or Thurssay when most of the copies of the game were shipped and charged to customers? I don't know how much or often you preorder or from where but majority of online retailers don't charge customers until products are shipped and I also dount they'll pay in full to suppliers / developers in idvance for all preorders either so actually your argument is pretty flawed as well. Indeed - there is some indication of how many people might actually buy the game based on the preorded figures and estimated drop out rates but in no way it means secured money in the bank in advance. This indeed exlcudes DD preorders in case they're changed on order date rather than on (or close prior to) release date but that's fairly rare and even then counts for fairly small part of the whole preorder amount.

I purchased this game today via SE EU Digital Store, never received a code to redeem and play properly. Sent ticket, nothing happened. Tried to get a live chat. Not available in EU. Tried to contact by phone. Not allowed outside UK.

I used to stand behind the old "it's an MMO" thing. But I've launched 4 MMOs in the past year and a half and this is by far the worst.

Yes I remember WoWs release. Any company that hasn't learned from that is idiotic.

SWTOR had a great release but wasn't smart enough to have character transfers figured out. This game has a crap release but supposedly does. I don't really know which is better. My guess is retention is going to be on the low side.

I'd be ok with queues. Or minor bugs. But so far it's been game breaking things that I might as well just log off because I can't progress further.my class quest on BOTH of my toons is bugged. It's pretty but nothing amazing. Had they done launch flawless it might have a much better hold in the market but I'm doubtful

And ozzies and some places I've not heard of before, but that's still cool. The JP servers seem to have fewer streakers, so I guess that is good. Oh oh, pro tip for playing with the EU folks - take your top off and run around the zone for a bit after leveling up and yell "LEVVELLL!!!"
