As long as there continue to be white knight MMO apologists assuring everyone that debilitating login and stability issues are "to be expected", such issues will continue to plague MMO launches, because no one is holding companies to task for releasing broken services. If people collectively put their foot down and said that these sorts of predictable logistics issues were no longer acceptable, you can be damn sure they would stop.

It's not 1999 anymore. It's almost 2014. Mainstream MMOs have been around for more that a decade and a half now. Publishers no longer have an excuse for not being able to adequately anticipate launch stresses and plan accordingly so as to avoid prolonged service outages. No one would accept any other piece of software that crashed 90% of the time and didn't work for weeks after release, so why does everyone just roll over and accept that an MMO is going to be unplayable for the first 2 weeks after launch?

I preordered this game back in 2010. I demand a refund since the servers aren't stable. Jesus, you kids need to grow up. Preorder bonuses don't even need to be guaranteed. I bet you're probably the same idiot who preorders a game just to get a 'good' weapon or skin or something. Pathetic. I pre-order things because I like them. It's an MMO before the launch date, boohoo.

Can't wait till all these little kids ragequit so us Legacy players who have always supported the game can finally have some peace and quiet.
