I know they have market /research teams that make way more money than anyone here, a whole room full to just to give them figures of how many customers they might/will expect, hell they have research depts for almost anything and they do their job very well or they don't have a job so when these excuses of they didn't expect this turn out keeps being used it kinda makes my ass itch.. honestly true fact is they did not care enough about our servers to upgrade them to make it ready. They figured they would take the wait and see approach. Spend the money abit at a time string it along buy a part here and there.

SE is a Japanese company. Do you really think they have a direct link to Amazon and Gamestop (US) or GAME (UK) and know all the sales from every country this quickly?

So, do you know how it works when Amazon is a product reseller, rather than a pure retailer? As fast as your own internal system updates sales, Amazon's system is sending you sales reports. When I first started working where I do, I was in customer service and had occasions where customers had just ordered from Amazon and realized they forgot an item or added one too many after the fact, and I could see their order and update or change it just that fast. I would be willing to bet that the digital download system through Amazon works the same way. Why? Because I've purchased digital download software from Amazon and been able to immediately log into Steam and start the game.

And for companies that sell to Amazon at wholesale and Amazon is the retailer? Well, to those companies those items are sold, and are treated that way.
