What worries me is that the announcement for this one quoted;

Aug. 25, 2013 from 15:30 to 17:30 a.m. (GMT)

and the last one quoted;

[Date & Time]
Aug. 25, 2013 from 8:00 to 11:00 (GMT)

But in the follow up they even admitted to taking it down early with;

[Date & Time]
Aug. 25, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:05 (GMT)

Now I totally agree that they needed taking down and fixing, but whomever is making these announcements, could you do us all a favour (including yourself) and make sure you're accurate with at least the start time? Oh, and learn how to use the 24 hour clock; no need for 'a.m.' or 'p.m.', but you do need a leading 0, so 07:00 is 7a.m. and 15:30 is 3:30p.m., thank you.

Only other gripe is making the community aware that you're taking the servers down. How many people actually check the website continually while playing? People are too interested in playing to do so. Last thing they're going to do is look at the maintenance announcements every 10 minutes. First maintenance you actually gave folks a heads up in game; true, you didn't follow that up with a global countdown, but still, you did so. Therefore, it IS possible to do. Would it really cause that much issue to do so in future?

I wonder if they'll magically set up more than one data center to handle the server load, maybe set up a data center in Germany or something for EU and keep the current data center for NA. How they messed something so simple up is beyond most of us right now.

You're joking right? With that mentality, no company would ever be held accountable for their actions. It's not like this game is free to play. We paid, in advance, for a game that has some serious issues. People complain about it and you say we're spoiled? Sigh.. fangirls these days.

Who cares about the maintenance they need to sort the codes out for the ones who bought the CE edition for early access and also the codes for the people who was given the wrong codes.. typical noobs complaining about down game time when theres 1000's of ppl without codes for the early access who have paid !!!

Criticism is no longer accepted, and when a company messes up big time like in this case, a horde of apologists always defend them to death like a hooligan would defend his baseball team.

When a company does well, I am the first one to compliment them and tell them how good they are. Positive feedback must be earnt.
