Thats not entirely true either. This is the final product unfortunately with the scope of the game and all that they did in such a short amount of time the bugs are going to be there. They will be there after release too. You have to understand that a bug is just a mess up in the code and in a game like this there could be billions of lines od code. Unfortunately a messed up part at line 2 could screw up something at line 122222989. And going through a book of code that is thicker than a freaking novel is not an easy job. I think they have done a great job but there will be bugs and problems probably up to a month or two after release. Even WoW still gets problems and has to go through maintenance and look how long thats been around.

So you felt the urge to post for the first time only to quote my post. Fair enough.
What I actually mean is that you can't simply hide everything under the carpet and say "it's all good since it's free". This is absolutely not the point here. This Early Access thing is not a favor; SE's purpose isn't demonstrating affection. EA is a bonus product, a part of a whole imbued in the package itself. There are people who pre-ordered only to play earlier . Although bonus days aren't a service itself, it holds a marketing potencial. Remember that usually a game's price has a 'free' month too, meaning you're buying an experience, a promise, and if the means don't match the ending, the cash you invested is totally gone, since you're not willing to use that product again (even if you change your mind later, you gonna need more cash).

So please, it is extremely understandable why people are so upset. But I can't really get this urge to defend the game at any cost. Believe me, you're not enjoying your access for free. And believe me twice, I really loved the game and I had no trouble at all myself, but I feel the pain others are experiencing.

It's a new game launch so it's bound to having some primary teething problems, worst case scenario you lose maybe 1 day of early access time, you still have another 2 days before tons of other people get to play it.

Yeah. A community rep even apologized earlier for all the problems we were having. No need for him to do that after giving us the standard update, but he did.
I haven't been able to sign in at all and have been up since 12:00am hoping for a miracle that probably isn't going to happen 'till Mon., but I know they're trying not to disappoint and will comp us accordingly. That's enough for me.

    Edit:

This was really well put, I completely agree. Even though it would be pretty difficult to dissuade me from playing this game regardless of the amount of potential problems in the foreseeable future (BIG fan), all your points are solid, and people understandably have a right to be upset.

Oh, thank you, Random-Divine-Being, for someone who can actually think for himself and then express their thoughts in a coherent, logical and non-monosyllabic fashion! Sir/Madam, I applaud you and your presence on this planet.
