I think SE have to market the crap out the game at this point, they will only release the PS3 version when they think they can overturn the huge backlash from the media and critics at launch. When it is ready they will have to do a lot of marketing to get back the players they lost and bring in the new ones. The fate of the game really depends on how well they do at PS3 release as they will bill it as a relaunch of the game really.

Very true but i wonder how long that would take i hoping that 1.18 and 1.19 bring in the new battle and class system and maybe by patch 1.20 and 1.21 this game would be up and running to a good mmo. I wonder if they thinking of releasing FFXIV for ps3 this year or maybe next year. I think they making a new pack to be release for the PS3 if not they just going to release FFXIV on the ps3 how it should have been from pc release.
