No I am not wrong and your post proves it. I recieved my refund YESTERDAY morning and got no messages from SE or PSN. It is not until you recieve the "golden ticket" XMB message that they tell you that they are giving you a complimentary copy...and lo and behold, I have still not recieved my XMB message.

If I didn't frequent FFXIV boards I would have no knowledge of any kind of compensation. Even the message on the client launcher only says to check your XMB for more information.
