    You know what is annoying is that thread like this gets so much attention but when I make a thread to try and come up with an idea to fix this problem and other problems it just fades into obscurity. Not just me either I have read so many threads where people post some absolutely fantastic ideas and they just fade away. It just seems like unless you complain about something that goes against the grain or are one of the first few posts in a thread then it is pretty much pointless discussing anything as no one will bother to read it.

    My idea for fixing Leve's basically has what people are suggesting fixed amounts of SP/EXP and make all Leve's available for selection at every reset and I posted that at the beginning of the month after posting it in various threads about the subject which the replies would be positive until it was no longer on the "last" page of the thread then it was forgotten.

    and those 2 ideas would fix 99% of the problems completely. you would still have the one well i want solo to get as much as being in a big party doing higher stars, but for the majority just fixing sp and allowing each on the reset you correct them easily.

    A very good point but like I said the original idea of Guildleves was to make them casual/quick content and the problem is they are the only content so everyone is doing them. Once they have content for us to do other than Guildleves then they just need to go back and rebalance Leve linking to make it so it is not so over powered in comparison to solo.

    Maybe they could make it so you only get the lump sum at the end if you linked and linking only gives a 5% bonus per link. This would allow solo people to do them without feeling like they are missing out on the huge SP gains you currently get by linking but it would also allow parties to link for a smaller boost while also increasing the difficulty and other modifiers for an even bigger boost.

    Lets say for example doing an R40 leve solo would give you 10K SP. Now if you fully leve linked it in a party and did it on a higher difficulty it could add up to a 50% boost so it would make it 15k SP. I think that would be more fair than what we have currently.

    the only problem with the idea of sp at the end for a reward, is then youd have TONS of people whining and moaning even harder about how the mobs dont give any SP
    and thats a very sad truth

    But the mobs do give SP/EXP they just give it at the end. I suppose you could allow them to give just normal SP like they would in the field for the current rank they are as well like 200SP or something depending on your rank to the mob and party size as well as the lump sum bonus on completion. They only problem with that is that SE may think people would exploit that and not allow instant retry's on the Leve that would be possible if it was only gained upon completion. So they could start Dunes for example kill all the Mongrels for 5k SP then fail it, then start again get another 5k SP and so on basically spawning and endless cycle of mobs that are the correct rank for their level.

    i was just pointing out a stupid fact, people will complain, period, no matter what the change is

    personaly im all for a set ammount of SP per leve based on "conditions" for how it was completed.

    Sorry I thought you had read my Guildleve idea (Clicky) and was commenting on that not what I had posted in here. ^^

    But basically I think my idea solved pretty much all the problems of the current Guildleve system and also some of the new possible exploits but you did bring up a new one of people leaving the party to hand them in. The way I see it is if it is a total at the end and the mobs are spawned as they are now then that pretty much end that problem right there.

    Lets use Dunesfolk as an example (sorry just think everyone is familiar with that one) So you get to the last light which you know has the Peiste and you are in a party. If disbanded there would still only be one light to spawn the Peiste to finish the Leve and as soon as it dies the Leve is auto completed so you can't kill it then disband. Only the person who started the Leve can pop the Peiste if the everyone disbanded so the other members would be unable to complete the Leve and get the credit so it would be pointless to try that approach.

    I do like this kind of discussion and I wish there was more of it, coming up with ideas to help the game as opposed to just complaining ^^
