The issue isn't finding it... People who have purchased CE before and refunded it are having problems re-purchasing it as it is still logged in their transaction history.

Nice of SE to make a statement about this blunder. It may not all be their fault, but they could at least inform their customers of what is going on. Here we are like idiots speculating back and forth wondering if we can get in EA or not, while no one is telling us anything.
Community reps.... care to chime in for christ's sake? This is beyond frustrating.
The issue in this particular exchange -was- finding it. I understand the mechanics. I took my refund for the standard edition and bought the CE (adding 20 bucks) so I could have early access.
What does your early access under your service list say now after purchasing a different version?
this is seriously getting on my nerves, im this close to ditch out another $20 to dl the CE now to ease my mind but something tells me to not do anything rash. grrr! all we got now is a fu**king stealth refund! will giving us a tiny little update going to kill them!? im not asking for an apology letter, just a "we have just refunded your purchase to your wallet, please wait for our reply on what to do with it soon."

Ah, gotcha. You're lucky. I wished I wasn't so hasty to purchase that CE... I guess will have to make do with the standard until either CE becomes available to purchase or I get the digital upgrade at launch.
So just to get this straight, you bought it from PSN store, then just avoid the download. Afterwards you opened the P4, loged in and start patching?I did not have to delete my Phase 4 client. The only thing that was new from the purchase was the Pre-Order code. After starting the game again, I was able to login and register without any problems.
This leads me to believe that the issue lies with those Pre-Order codes we bought during that time frame.
I downgraded mine to standard from CE and now my services list shows this
FF14 Early Access
Starts 8/23/2013 Expires -
FF14 Standard Edition Pack
Starts 8/23/2013 Expires -
FF14 Collector's Edition Pack
Starts 8/14/2013 Expires -8/23
Indeed it very much looks that at midnight things will reset and you will be able to purchase again
