Normally that's probably the case, but for this special situation I think they expedited this process... the services list for FFXIV all expire today. This theoretically means they are cleared at midnight. Still, best to just wait for SE to say something official. If they make us wait 5-7 I will rage.

Yeah, that's why I'm waiting. I want my CE back.

I do too, but I want my CE.I can live without the CE. Really only got it for the Coeurl mount and Behemoth Barding. But those aren't game breaking for me. Just treats.
My guess is they have to do the following:
1. Refund us all the $$$.
2. Delete the client from our individual transaction histories.
3. Send us messages telling us it's once again available for purchase.
That all may take quite some time.
I may just delete my CE and download the regular version. Would rather play now.

I also have 39.99$ sitting in my psn wallet. I do not want a refund. I also did not recieve any messages via XMB mail. I am going to wait till they say something first.

I did not have to delete my Phase 4 client. The only thing that was new from the purchase was the Pre-Order code. After starting the game again, I was able to login and register without any problems.
This leads me to believe that the issue lies with those Pre-Order codes we bought during that time frame.
