    UI is still laggier than other games even though there is a marked improvement since release, and combat is still unresponsive. If it's not due to regional servers then SE needs to show that they can improve it without regional servers.

    It's due to serverside interface which it makes no difference where the servers are as it's all up to the game in general to be properly optimized especially if I need:

    Click action > wait for server to 'OK' > send action > get response.

    It's all because of the middle steps that's causing it to be laggy, since most MMOs you send action > get response on if it lands/deals damage/cures etc etc, no middle augment.
