Or they could fix their network code so we have no reason to blame latency.Luckily for us, disagreeing with your views (and actually knowing how this kind of things work) doesn't equate to being "paid" by square enix.
There are plenty games that segregate players to play only with their neighborhood (and don't have any perceivably faster response). You're always free to go play one of those. The vast majority, quite obviously, disagrees with you. I seriously doubt they're all paid by SE.
Because you saw their network code right? It's more probable that you need to "fix" your stamina management. Personally, I have no perceivable lag. All my skills fire as instantly as the eye can perceive. Probably because I can manage my stamina.
Oh wait. You're not playing, so you can't fix it.
Too bad.
If this game ever had regional servers, you will get less, and later content. the fact that they are linked means you have to get the same content at the same time. Its a no brainer for me, linked for life.
I can honestly say I'd stop playing if we had regional servers. I like playing with people from around the world and in fact I expect it in this day and age. Eve has spoiled me.
They do have regional servers, well 2 China and the rest of the world ^^
I'm in Japan, but today I was able to help a new player from Poland, and had a nice long chat with a friend from Greece.
The other day I was given a Decorated Horn Staff crafted by a friend who lives in Colombia, who was introduced by a friend in the United States.
We may all be on very different parts of this earth, but we can be together as friends on Eorzea.
That is what I like most about this game. ^^
I like not logging into a ghost town depending on what time I log in.
Anyways... this is a dead topic. Just drop it already.
