No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Re

1.0 non-legacy + PS3 preorders - check your PC client! I had to deal with the "no active account" thing earlier, but now my account is working on both systems.

Looks like maybe the PSN maintenance might have fixed the issue. I now get the "wait until early access" message, as expected.

I would still like to suggest that, in future, Square-Enix care a little more about keeping their customers informed about what's being looked at (even if it turns out to be wrong!), and less about saving face. Lack of communication erodes customer loyalty.

if u pre ordered both version, ps3 and pc and already register the ps3 version. can i register the pc version to same account so that i can play on both systems during the early accsse

I am non legacy but getting the message "No valid account service, blah blah" I waited till psn maitnence was done but still getting the same message. I pre orderd through PSN and in my services in account management says im fine. But the launcher says different.

SERIOUSLY? I cannot believe it. Damn it SE, the only thing you know to say is "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience." If I miss EA I expect some type of compensation since I have paid already for this. This is no longer a Beta test and this kind of problems should have been fixed.

Been mentioned on the JP forum that it should work (from rep).
Doesn't help you I know, but that still means they are aware that people have the problem.

Yep, and can confirm both PS3 and PC versions are just waiting on the official start of EA. :Happy Dance: Seems sending that email support request might have lit a fire under someone.

Just in case, I thought I'd ask: 1.0, non Legacy, preordered PS3 CE via Amazon in June. Got the code, plugged it in, getting the subject title'd error. Is this the same boat as the PSN members or not?

For me it has not changed anything yet, I have 1.0 PC Vers. account but Im not a Legacy. I do not care of the early access, but I want to know if my account is valid or not.
