the issue is a ton of us were given EU PSN codes the same way PC users were given EU PC codes. Except PC got a fix and PS3 did not.

Val can you take a picture of the error you get when you log into the NA client on ps3?

All you need to do then is go to preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com and login using the account you use to log into the P4 beta client. Then redeem the code. Write down the code. Login into the beta P4 client, it will update. It will then ask to link the bonus content service account. Say yes. Log in again and it will say wait for early access. What is the the PC fix?

Open IE or Chrome (doesn't work with firefox). Delete cookies and dump browser cache.

Go to preorder site. Sign in up top. Make sure all links are USA links.

Enter code. You should get a different code back. This only works for pc. (probably because SE controls the PC codes whereas they get the PS3 codes from sony)

Hey guys, hey! For starters, I'm exhausted. Sat in 2+ hrs for chat support only for them to Disconnect me when it was my turn.

Talked with vendor and Square Enix support, no success. I did however get 5 emails with the same EU PSN code.

So, I figured fine I'll try it since I have a working EU account.

Code worked fine on my EU PSN account, downloaded client, am currently installing it. I got the error Vakim got when running the P4 client I had already installed. I'm currently installing the new client I got from redeeming my EU code.

It's at 50% right now. Hopefully it works, and I can at least link this to my SE-account and play on the PC (don't really care for the PS3 version.)

This has been one giant mess for me since P4.

I just noticed that while I was readying the client on my PS3, I accidently created another FFXIV service account. One was created on 14th of June and I used to create my beta 4 character (FFXIV 1) and the other was created yesterday to register my early access code (FFXIV 2).

I'm under the impression that I have my beta 4 character under FINAL FANTASY XIV 1 and my early access benefits under FINAL FANTASY XIV 2. So, when the early access comes Saturday, I'm thinking I'm stuck with an account with no early access goodies or one with no character.

Can anyone confirm this? Is there any way I can remedy this?
