I contacted the chat service for help and they gave me a new key for my PS3 that worked. I owe them many many hugs and cuddles but if you still have one that isn't working I suggest you can always try hitting them up. Just be nice.. poor guys are swamped to all get up.
And if you don't get through the first time just keep trying. I made it to #1 and got kicked because there was no one there to help and the second time around I made it in.

No offense towards you but the whole purpose of queue is that someone will call you when they are available. I sat in queue for 2hrs45mins only to get the same error you did which basically caused me to break the pencil I was holding. Do you have the phone number you used?

I didn't use the phone number I used the online chat option in the Square Enix account management help site. You make the ticket and then choose the online chat option. They aren't open 24 hours but they did have the hours posted.
