Calling all Lancers to talk about the beloved spear wielding class that still needs some work.

IE: The solely severe lack of Accuracy Bonus!

Though I don't mind the lack of wyvern but that would be nice, maybe they could make a dragoon class for that later? >.>

Yes, I wonder what the advance class will be for Lancer! I can't wait! I love lancer, it has a lot of potential with speed surge/life surge and other debuff/buffs. Just needs buffed a little. ALSO feint is the best weapon skill ever.

I'm really hoping that they aren't thinking of adding a wyvern to the Lancer class. Though I don't mind being able to advance to Dragoon in the future ^_^

I definitely would like to have an accuracy bonus. It can get on my nerves, the amount I miss at times. Though, once I got Feint it has helped alleviate that issue a bit.

I'm really can't wait till our class becomes more defined. I really like the description of Lancer that they had on the main FFXIV site around when the game was released. Basically described it like the tank's backup in a party. Like when we are in a party and fighting a monster, then another monster comes out from nowhere. Then it starts to attack one of the mages, we're supposed to be the first ones to respond to situations like that. Plus, we have all those cool buffing and debuffing moves. Granted, they don't make much difference when the fights don't last long.

This was mentioned in the last Letter from the Producer, I think, if not the polls. I know the idea of advanced class is being talked about, but before that can happen the game needs to be fixed, especially the battle.

I agree, Feint DEFINITELY made things easier, and I'm happy to be able to use that ability in Pugilist class as well, especially since Feint does more damage than a regular melee hit, and takes very little stamina.

I think there should be a separate class for the wyvern, but it's hard to say since both classes would be TOO similar, iunless the Wyvern class would be a lot more pet based job, kind of like more so Beastmaster ish than Lancer.

Ok what would be cool is if for the advanced classes they gave you a choice of what you become. Like make a quest where you can either train to be a dragoon or a quest where you learn to be a pikeman or something like that.

Also I would like to agree Feint is awesome who needs accuracy when you can Feint

I totally agree the wyvern should be a separate class as to be honest it just did not feel fitting to the advanced class. What I would love to see however is a more defining advanced class based on individuals play styles rather then just have the advanced class set in stone. One one side we could have a Dark Dragoon and on the other side a Holy Dragoon.
