I'd like that ability, But first and foremost better Weapon Skill ANIMATION!!!!! i have a Rank 40 Lancer and all the animations for weapon skills on LNC are the same except they differ by how big the wind spiral is >_>

Lancer has definitely been my favorite class so far, especially once you hit rank 50 and master chaos thrust. If they do create separate "advanced classes" then I hope for chocobo knight (with a chocobo companion/mount) and dragoon (with a wyvern and jump attack)
Personally I think the advanced classes shouldnt be like specialization trees (that pretty much would make it wow), but make them new unlockable classes from ranking up the main classes. So you would still have a 50 lancer, but then you can unlike the chocobo knight class, or the dragoon class, or both. Yes, that would still present the problem of everyone having all the same abilities, but leveling three classes to 50 does take time. Also, only the main classes can unlock specific advanced classes, so a rank 50 glad cant unlock the dragoon quest, but only the paladin or samurai quest, etc.
Also, i believe in this method because that allows everyone the chance to get summoner^^;
