    You underestimate the powers of copy-paste and aren't factoring in the addition of new zones.

    And I don't think you realize that people will mostly populate the new zones or gather to a common one (in our case, Ul'dah).

    Just saying, I'd rather have my own instanced room that my friends can come into. Hell, they should do like PSU and you can sell your stuff from your instanced room. It was nice to have that.

    Instanced zones don't work (look at Age of Conan) because they don't matter to anyone else besides the people who own the zone. In a MMO you need to foster a sense of community and you can't do that unless the players tread a common ground.... literally.

    We definitely need tents! It's in a lot of FF games, and it would rock. Even just for cosmetic purposes.

    As I said, the dev team can choose where the houses go. No need for instancing. Complete creativity. Just let people know that if they make something inappropriate, they will be banned. Simple enough. I doubt someone would purchase all the materials and risk getting banned by doing something offensive. I think these servers hold 4000 people. I think we could have that many houses in Eorzea. In any case, it's up to the dev team.

    I really feel that allowing each player to build there own house is unrealistic in a game such as this; there is just not enough room to be able to do something of this scope. Cities would have to be mass produced, and city sizes increased just to fit all these "houses". Instanced guild headquarters is what i would like to see, i agree that there is not point to an instanced room if you are the only person who can see it. However it makes sense to make guild headquarters were your link shell as a community could conjugate too and just hang out. And of course i am all for customizing and furnishing said headquarters.

    And were do you suggest we let the player base build? Lets just have someone plop a house they built right on top of a NM.. YEAH!!!

    There needs to be a predesigned location for the houses to be built, houses cant just be built anywhere.
