True. I do understand the general concept of re-invention, and innovation. But my question was more addressing the specifics of Hamlet Defense. It was not asked as a rhetorical device. It was an honest question.

Why does the Development Team feel the need to create "new" settlements in new locations with new NPCs for us to defend and fight for, when these hamlets already exist? Did the "New Team" find a better purpose for the existing hamlets?

That's pretty much what I'm wondering. If any light could be shed on this, I'm sure many of us would be greatly appreciative.
