As much as I like the idea of this, it leaves open one massive hole: The landscape.

What was it that caused the landscape to suddenly and dramatically change? That takes more than just firey blasts. The world has "returned to its true form" if you believe the master ascian.
Something far more subtle has happened, which will not be explained by a simple time warp (or even a jump to the left).

What was it that caused the landscape to suddenly and dramatically change? That takes more than just firey blasts. The world has "returned to its true form" if you believe the master ascian.
Something far more subtle has happened, which will not be explained by a simple time warp (or even a jump to the left).

The aether flow was finally able to stabilize it self. We don't really know how dramatic of an effect the aether can effect trees, plants, and shrubbery -- but with the Agrias' explosion in Mor Dhona and plant life seeming to go extinct in Mor Dhona within those 15 years, who knows what 5 years would do for Mor Dhona. Clearly it's back to pre-1562 6A.E. form or at least looks so in concept art and the tidbits SE has shown us.

When Louisoix died/was incinerated there's 2 places for his aether to have gone: absorbed by Bahamut or back to the land. Just as similar I'd say Nael van Darnus was absorbed in the same way, not a merger. Just a down right absorption, like some kind of aether pixie stick.

As for Odin, it might be. I don't think Louisoix will turn into Odin..just would seem weird for a regular person to turn into an Elder Primal. I still argue Ramuh was the Primal that halted the Garlean advance into the Black Shroud, so for me that opens up the possibility for Odin to be awakened by Bahamut's rampage. Odin may not have been released when the Agrias exploded so he was probably sealed elsewhere entirely. While the Ceruleum explosion was powerful, Bahamut's Megaflare was even more so. Odin could awaken just as angry and ready to go as Bahamut had.

Just a month to ago and we will see.

The trees seemed to turn into crystal or maybe it was the aether that landed on the tree and turned into crystals.
