    As for your points, you're technically right. The whole Monk storyline, told by the same guy who laid out all the lore about Midgardsormr and Crystal Tower, was all about how scenes of catastrophic death leave behind a ton of aether, though it's up for debate how much of it could possibly have been used to summon Odin after he funneled what had to have been a ton of it into channeling Thaliak Althyk for the time-limbo. Also, that wording is suspiciously open to Odin being new to the world.
