if you don't want a bad community why are you acting like that......Aside from when there is a conflict of interest, at which point you decide to do what you want regardless of what everyone else thinks because "it's fun and not work". Everyone is there just for your fun, and if others don't find it fun, they are insensitive and bad players among other things.
Since, as we all know, when dealing with humans you never have to compromise. At least in Massachusetts.
do you really see who rude you truely are.
It's only slander (technically the term is libel for written things) if it's not true. But it is true in this case. You have not made any good points (more accurately, you haven't acknowledged the counter-arguments... you just ignore, dismiss or steamroll over them by going off-topic), otherwise I would respond.
You don;t know me stop judging me. This is the REAL reason you guys do not want it. I'm no loner I did have several Social LS's in ffxi. You guys are so judgemental its getting irritating. You want a good community. Act like it. Get to know a person before assuming. I just don;t want to always have to wait to get help in a quest. Or 6 hours for a party because lack of players not partying. I'm no loner or solo'er.Your debate is crap. You're like the George Bush of debates...have you seen him debate? watch him, you can learn a few more tricks. On topic though, I just gave you two reason as to why people don't want cross server PUGs, and no one is saying they don't want auto grouping, as long as its kept in one server and assuming this game will take off at PS3 release you'll have plenty of people to PUG with to your hearts content and it doesn't involve a LS you freakin loner - or is it because no one would take you in their LS? I know I sure as hell wouldn't.
Hey, I'm not the one here unwilling to compromise my own enjoyment for others. That title goes to you.
I'm simply fighting you with your own terms. Is that rude, you think?
It isn't true if you claim it is. If you took the time to know me you wouldn't be so quick to judge. You guys are really something else. You want good communities but then go around witch hunting people. It's only slander (technically the term is libel for written things) if it's not true. But it is true in this case. You have not made any good points (more accurately, you haven't acknowledged the counter-arguments... you just ignore, dismiss or steamroll over them by going off-topic), otherwise I would respond.
I was never rude in this topic. All i want is to have fun on a video gane and gave examples of my personal experiences. You guys are making poor judgement calls based on assuming you know how I truely am. Insult me for my typing, and insult me because you misunderstood my post.
Instead of assuming a person is rude ask them what they mean.
umm yes you are..... you are against the feature..... which is infact limiting others who may need it.
I want it because i'm under the same flag. I don't always play the game at the same time as everyone else. I'm not wanting it for my own enjoyment. Nor is anyway else. So for all those who are against it are doing that. They want to limit how people get things done because thet simple do not want it.
If you don't like it don;t use it. Let others who do like it use it. How is that rude?
I should beable to log on an mmo and do content at my leisure. Make friends i can talk to through these forums or other such stuff. Why do you guys want to limit the game with scheduals not everyone can do?
I think that is rude.
I know this article is about Rift and you guys hate that game, but this guy has ideas of how cross-server grouping could be better at the end of the article.

I understand your concerns, however i believe that those 3 points you mentioned above, it's all players doing...it's not feature that's destroying community or ninja your loot...as for third, damn...people act like that since...ever lol, this feature won't really make it any worse (or better) people WILL still do all that (they did in XI...)
1) It destroys communities: With the mix and match cross world system, it will destroy the union between players from their own world. It will be like 5k players playing their own solo games
2) gives oportunity for ninja's:
With less responsability for player reputations, you can and will come across people who see this as an invitation to take advantage of the situation and rob the party of everything they worked for.
However, this does have a flip side and gives some players the chance to shout "ninja" every time they do not get their own way, regardless of what may occour.
3) player conduct: Again, with less responsabilities for player reputations. Cross-world groups makes people think they have a right to pretty much treat everyone else like dirt. No amount of racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise derogitory name calling (often having the F word seperate every other word) has gone unheard when this feature has been implimented in other games.
As soon as we get dungeons, you'll see rage posts about ninja's which then leads to bad player conduct...
I wouldn't mind feature like this IF it's completely optional. I would probably not use it because I'm in couple of pretty big and active linkshells (and i plan it to stay like that), so I will always have something to do with friends, but not everybody has that and I would really see no problem if people would have an opportunity to do some dungeons or raids with players from other servers
That's my opinion anyway![]()
