A lot of the XIV artists hang out around here, right? I had an idea for a comic strip but I suck at art. So here, if you like the idea, someone draw it, if not, let it rot :P

Frame 1: Nael van Darnus stands next to Dalamud, which looks distant in the sky. He yells "For the Empire!" and thrusts his lance upwards. It turns out, however, that this was a Dalamud Minion. There's a little {POP!} as his spear punctures the bottom.
Frame 2: He lowers his lance and stares at the Dalamud stuck on the end of it, a little (?) above his head.
Frame 3: He waves the lance around angrily, trying to shake it loose.
Frame 4: Swinging his lance downwards with great force, Dalamud flies off the end and shatters on the ground. A little Bahamut is thrown out of it and rolls a small distance away from him.
Frame 5: They stare at each other for a moment, both confused.
Frame 6: Little Bahamut chases a flaming van Darnus towards the out-of-frame, firing lots of those flaming drone things we see following him during end of an Era.
