Ok, to clarify then, in order to get early access, I will have to buy a CE of the ARR version? or else wait for release after phase 4 ends?

That chart is slightly wrong. Early Access comes with a pre-order or by being legacy. Doesn't matter which you pre-order. The one thing you need to be wary of is that you cannot put another PC code on your account if you own 1.0 already. So if you have the normal 1.0 edition and bought a 2.0 CE, you would not get the CE items, but by pre-ordering it you do get the pre-order code which CAN be used on the account. To get the CE items in that case you would need the digital upgrade around release time.

If you have the CE for PC and you want the physical AND digital stuff, buy the PS3 CE. If you don't have a PS3 and want the extras, uhhh, dunno lol.

If you don't want the physical stuff - The you could just buy the digital version. And then you would get the Early Access, Mog Cap and CS Minion. To get the CE items(Courel mount etc) You would have to go further and get the standard account digital upgrade.

If you want the physical stuff from the CE. Then you will have to buy the PS3 version to be able to get the digital CE stuff(Courel mount etc), because you can't use the CE codes(Courel etc) from the PC CE on a pre existing standard account. You would have to digital upgrade to get them. (you would still get early access etc though. Just not the CE specific stuff. I think)

That is the impression I have gotten and the way I have wrapped my head around things. >C<

Huh, ok. I have the 1.0 CE. So I'm gonna have to weigh my options on whether getting Early access is worth it. I mean, there's already phase 4(knock on wood.)

Was why I ended up with the ARR PS3 CE version.. still pretty bad it takes a flowchart to decipher it for existing players.. easiest way for SE to have dealt with it would've been implementing a mechanism to input the ARR PC CE code into whatever system they'll implement for the ARR CE digital upgrade.. it can't be *that* difficult to do :|

Edit - unless they're doing the digital upgrade through account management.. but even then >.>;;

Found out that Coris' hair is actually a shade of purple o_O I wanted it to be grey D: I'll definitely turn it to grey when we're able to re-do our characters, or maybe when the barber is in the game. But for the skin colour... Really gonna test it the next time, because I wanted her to be a bit more 'sun kissed'.
All of the other settings were just fine. Maybe I'll add a little tail length and breast size. (Glad even maxed the breasts don't look ridiculous huge.)
Anyways, does anyone know if the graphics are all finished already? Maybe the colours don't look 'right' because of that?

OMG me too. I was stunned when I loaded my 1.0 character and found out that my base hair was acutally purple with grey highlights. I kept it the same and I could actually notice the purple in game. Next beta I am going to create another character off the same model and make the hair a sstraight grey and see how it looks

I changed my eye colour from being a yellow-green to a blue green and I like the deeper colour much better. I also darkened my lips a little. As for the makeup/tattoo page, I actually found out that If I chose the 3rd eyeshadow option and made it black it worked like eyeliner/mascara enhancing my eyes. I think I will stick with that option. As I am grey, blush looks a little strange on my complexion and the tattoos, while some are quite cute, I think I would regret them further down the track once the novely had worn off.

A lot of the XIV artists hang out around here, right? I had an idea for a comic strip but I suck at art. So here, if you like the idea, someone draw it, if not, let it rot :P

Frame 1: Nael van Darnus stands next to Dalamud, which looks distant in the sky. He yells "For the Empire!" and thrusts his lance upwards. It turns out, however, that this was a Dalamud Minion. There's a little {POP!} as his spear punctures the bottom.
Frame 2: He lowers his lance and stares at the Dalamud stuck on the end of it, a little (?) above his head.
Frame 3: He waves the lance around angrily, trying to shake it loose.
Frame 4: Swinging his lance downwards with great force, Dalamud flies off the end and shatters on the ground. A little Bahamut is thrown out of it and rolls a small distance away from him.
Frame 5: They stare at each other for a moment, both confused.
Frame 6: Little Bahamut chases a flaming van Darnus towards the out-of-frame, firing lots of those flaming drone things we see following him during end of an Era.
