He should of chosen his words more wisely if he was not in fact told to "shut up".

The translator or YoshiP? Because the translator said "shut up", Yoshi P said words that may be construed in different ways, including "be quiet" "can it" or <in 80s Megatron impression> "SILENCE!"

His announcer should learn how to put things into proper context.

The look I saw while he was smiling was "my hero just shit on me".

If you work in the PR department of all places, you should understand the nuance of the English language and understand that words have weight.
