Thanks! In your SE Account, where do you see your PSN linked? I don't think a separate PS3 Beta access will show up (since you already had a beta code/access listed). But the PSN/Sony account should be there somewhere?Yeah after you choose you have an existing account, you don't need to enter the beta code. It'll link your PSN and SE account and then it takes you to the client download. And you're done.
I checked my account services and the PS3 beta hasn't shown up yet, but I am assuming it'll show after I actually play it on the PS3? I dunno yet but I have it downloaded and ready to go.
Well I thought maybe it'd show it as one of my services since it shows alpha, beta, and my regular account, but maybe you're right since I already had the beta it wouldn't say "PS3 Beta" also.
SE just wants you to link your PSN to them so they can grant you access to the game. I'm sure TESO will work the same on the PS4.
Ok hey ! So I linked my SE + PSN and as you guys said, didn't ask me for a Beta code. It listed my ONE SE account and my ONE PSN and asked "link these" so hopefully it's exactly what I wanted to do.
Now the PS3 launcher looks JUST like the PC launcher, and it's updating/dl the game. 145 mins and rising on the timer, lol. I have RR Lightning (60++ mbps) and only getting 1.17 for the dl.. oh I remember the 6 hr dl's on XI...
Thanks for your info guys, crossing fingers that this all works and that on PS3 I will be logging into the exact same stuff/characters. :O
Yeah my friend thinks they made it to where you download a certain section for 15 minutes, then another section for 15, etc.. Helps reduce congestion and what not. Never heard of it, but she knows more about that stuff than I do and it made sense considering everyone downloading the client at once.Ok hey ! What server are you on?
It will probably DL better today since Beta is over til Friday again and not as many ppl dl'ing all at once. Again, thanks for your replies and giving me the courage to proceed lolYeah my friend thinks they made it to where you download a certain section for 15 minutes, then another section for 15, etc.. I played on PC all weekend but am *hoping* that having Beta on the PS3 will minimize the effort I need to go to add the retail version (who knows). I likely won't play on PS3 much at all, if ever, but it will be a backup, and it's more portable. Also gives me a way to get all the in-game CE/preorder goodies on my Legacy 1.0 account.
I'm on Coeurl (for Beta). Staying on Sargatanas for Ph4/Early/Launch.
Also, logged into my SE Account and don't see the PSN/Sony account listed anywhere. Maybe I'm rushing things lol and it can't show up yet. I'm thinking maybe it will be listed under services like where it lists:
Surely at some point it will show in our SE Account the PSN account which we've added?Services and Options

Glad it seems to be working out. I added the PS3 Beta code to my account and it created a second service account. I can play both platforms on both. Essentially I now have two accounts I can play simultaneously, which was unintended. The PSN ID links to the SE account, not the individual service account.
It never asked me to add the PS3 Beta code. Have you been in Beta before this code?Glad it seems to be working out. I added the PS3 Beta code to my account and it created a second service account. Do you see your PSN ID anywhere in your SE acccount?
Thanks!
I'm glad it worked for you, =)
But it's weird that we didn't have to register the beta code, and others did. I guess that they gave us the code like they did to everyone else who wasn't on the previous beta. Now I have a code that I won't use. Can I give it to someone else?
Sweet. See you on Sarg come launch.
It also only took about an hour for mine to download. If that. I turned over to the TV and did the dishes and it was done.. So maybe 30 minutes? lol
Yes, I was in earlier phases. It didn't ask me to register the PS3 code, except for in the original e-mail. As I now have two service accounts, I get the feeling that I didn't really need to do that - it probably would have sufficed just to use the PS3 download code and start playing on my PS3 without applying the new Beta code to my SE account.
Account 1 is Legacy and has a Beta reg date of 19th Feb.
Account 2 is not and has a Beta reg date of 14th June.
I could play on my PS3 on Account 1.
Nothing in my SE account page makes mention of my PSN ID, but the in-game title screen has it printed at the bottom iirc.
