Lightning in XIV

So, one of the big things that they mentioned in today's Letter Live is the inclusion of Lightning (from Final Fantasy XIII) into XIV somewhere.

Was it decided on as definitely being Lightning?

I read into it more as that while the Lightning Returns team was making costume change options for their product, they decided, "Let's cheer on Final Fantasy XIV by making a Miqo'te costume!" They showed Yoshida the render and asked him if he was cool with it. Thinking it was was hysterical, he decided that, if they did add it in, he should add something from Fabula Nova Crystalis to cheer them on right back. Did I miss something more specific?

He did mention her by name, but I think exactly what he adds from the XIII series is still up for grabs. If I were him, I'd include a code in Lightning Returns to get a low-level replica of Lightning's sword for FFXIV. Who wouldn't want to have that hanging around as vanity/town gear just for kicks?
