Idea For Legacy Characters to Move to Non-Legacy Servers

The three people I know who are new players and have pre-ordered won't play on Legacy servers. They want a fresh start with the rest of their peers.

I can see this being the same perspective for the majority of new players.

This is exactly what I'm faced with. I think it's more common than many think. Legacy servers likely will be the least popular servers for new players.

I'm happy continuing to annoy the folk on Sargatanas, but I will be creating a new alt to play with my friends on Moogle (or whatever in the seven hells they're calling these stupid new servers) and a few other folk who are of a mind to start new alts in their spare time 'for kicks'.

That what i'm saying play on a second char once 6-1year they would open the world. You can get your legacy char into that world and switch to that char. I don't see them every doing it everyone on the new worlds would be talking shit about the few players with goobbue mount and rave earring and so on.

I understand the part that there friends don't want to join a legacy world but you could just make a new char. Then once that world is open bring your legacy char over to that world and play with that.

All this legacy hate will come back on them in the end anyway. As said earlier they will be much lower populated servers as time goes on because legacy was/is the minority and few new players will go there, until the point the legacy servers get merged with your precious new player servers and you have to deal with us anyway.

Which I dont understand the big deal, despite what you self righteous non legacy think, most of us didnt exploit gil and lvls, we played the game how it was given to us. Its not my fault I never had to spend gil in 2 years, its not my fault early leves gave up to 70k each, should we throw our gil on the ground so your friends dont feel bad?

Sorry if this comes off harsh but I am kind of sick of the constant hate on legacy when the ones doing the judgement are totally guessing and assuming.

your right and it's true that all of those legacy haters if they had what we got they would not want to lose it either. They just mad they don't have it but its not our fault if they didn't want to play all the way. I don't have any ultimate weapon but i don't go on a hate against those who got ultimate weapon or finished the final quest. Its my fault to not have enough time to do it.

I would just make a new char on a new server to play with them and once they allow the ability to transfer chars to the new servers, do that and play your old char.

I may end up playing a brand new char depending on the circumstances, but I don't plan on giving up my old char.
