Apparently "Meteor Survivor" doesn't mean what we all think it means.

What do we all think it means? To me a "Meteor Survivor" is someone who survived Bahamut. Anyone who was born before End of an Era and is still alive is a meteor survivor. Since I doubt the characters in the floor demo will be little kids, they are survivors. Anyone playing ARR is a meteor survivor.

As for the shirt itself, it's a promotion shirt. A lot of companies give out promotional shirts at events. This just happens to be a shirt that should also be available to purchase for people who can't attend said events.

I'm not against swag. Heavens, no! I want happy press and game industry professionals to go forth and say how fun playing ARR was.

It was just that I understood the shirt to be an "I played v1.0" shirt, (or perhaps "supported FF14 when FF14 wasn't cool" sort of thing). That's why I wanted one so much. But on the positive side, now that SE doesn't mind who wears it, maybe they'll make it available for the general public on their company store? Please?

I know what you mean, but if the shirt was a "I played v1.0 shirt" they would have let us have it. Before it seemed more of a FFXIV dev shirt to me since as far as I know only the team had the shirts. As both of us have said hopefully now we'll all be able to get it.

I wanted to offer an update regarding our plans for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn at E3!

The "battle content" that E3 attendees will be playing will be... (*drumroll*) a special version of the Ifrit battle! Attendees will take on a version of the battle against the Primal Ifrit (of course, it'll be tuned so it can be challenged by new players, so don't expect super hard mode Ifrit lol).

If the party emerges victorious, each member will win... a Meteor Survivor polo shirt!

We'll be showing footage of the battle on our day 2 livestream, so I hope you're all excited to see Ifrit in A Realm Reborn!

If those of us who played a while would like to have that shirt SE should make it available in their store. It would be a momento/souvenir of the 2 years most of us put in on 1.0.
