Well most of the video is complete, we are working on an annotated menu for chapter selection, All we need now for chapter 2 to be released are lines to be completed and handed in. There are a few people (including myself) that have not handed in their lines yet.

The hope was for it to be live Monday but it looks like it will be a little bit yet. I hope we will have it released before E3 for sure.

I think there is a plan to at least do the introduction for each starting city, The only thing with that is we only have so much footage using the main character and that is important to keep the story consistent. After a certain point all the storys become the same anyway don't they?

Demos are generally to display your range. Try finding a FFXIV YouTube clip including several very different characters saying a few lines each and try acting those characters out very differently.
