Monstrosity (from FF XI) - Discussion

hi all,

i was looking around on FF XI site again and found this pretty interesting Test Implementation called "Monstrosity".

I find it pretty interesting, but i not rly want it in FFF XIV right now or any time soon (+2 years) because there is still lots of other things that can and will come.
Not to mention it is still in Beta. ^^

So, whats everyone else thinking about this Idea / System?

Just seems like filler content. It's not as if you can roam the world unprovoked as a monster, from what I read anyway.

I guess FFXI could use stuff like this to keep people interested. FFXIV will need lots of side content with goals of significance to keep people playing as well, because once end game content is exhausted, people have to have something else to do or they'll stop playing.

LotRO had something similar at launch in '07. It was pretty fun for a change of pace when there were significant amounts of others playing it.

There're a few things that are pulling me back to XI. It'd just take a freebie world transfer to do it. Fortunately for my sanity, nothing like that's been offered before.
