Amazon Germany offering pre-pay cards for FFXIV

so they are offering the cards but dint see any official news or anything
did they release to soon by mistake ? was it pland news for E3 ?
did i miss something completely

They said a while back that they going to release time cards i think a lot of people buy time card vs using there CC. I think the most are kids due to there parents not wanting to use there CC. So this is a great move on SE part to bring in more younger fans into the final fantasy world.

The sad thing is, it's less about people not wanting to use credit cards, but the fact that people who had used credit cards would dispute the charges of XI subscription.

I believe this was a big issue in XI where they lost revenue because people who used credit cards would then challenge the cost and get their money back, and there wasn't much SE could do about it.

So now with online gaming that does use fees, they are placing more concrete forms of payment which can't be disputed and using more "secure" forms of credit card payments so people can't turn around and say, "oh no I never paid for this service"
