Your name will also be in their chat log, like if you shout "R50 WHM lfp" or if you send them a tell first, or what-have-you. Only time it could be a problem is if they want to initiate contact with you without you having spoken to them first, in which case they obviously already know you. And if they've added you to their friends list, I think they'll be able to click from there too ^^
Hasn't been any word on if the auto-translate remembering some players will still work or not, to my knowledge.
