Pre Orders from SE and Early Access

If you are looking for Early Access understand that if you Pre Order from SE they will not ship until or just after the release date of 27 Aug 2013. This was stated in RED at the completion of my order for the PS3 CE.

Beta client for PS3 is going to be distributed through PSN, wouldn't it make sense they could do the same for people who preorder? There's no point in advertising the early access for preordering the PS3 version if they can't make good on it.

It would make sense but probably won't happen. Unless they e-mail your registration code for the physical product in advance then you could not play the game til you received the actual box. This applies for both the PC and PS3 versions, especially for 1st time players. If true it is not a good first impression for new subscribers if they cannot get what they pay for.

As in 1.0...you pre-downloaded the client for the early access. Then just added on your code within 1-2 weeks to keep it running.

Hope you are correct. I received my Collector's Edition for Ver 1.0 the day early access started (ordered from Amazon) and was able to enter my codes immediately. Still clarrification of this posted on the order site would be beneficial to all the new subscribers looking for early access.

hum funny i bought the CE from SE and they not only give you the pre-order for the game but they give you thing to download its a PDF early access instruction and with that you got link todownload the game before its come out and there is a serial number for electronic download ..
"visit http................................ and register. you will be notified via email prior to the lauch of the game on when you can return and redeem your preorder code to unlock ealry access to the game along with the instruction on how to receive your cait sith minion and moogle cap digital content."


and me im PC but me too i had in red :"This order will be shipped after the release date of 8/27/2013 for final fantasy XIV.........."
