Players Who Own the FFXIV version 1.0 Collector’s Edition
Players who own the FFXIV version 1.0 Collector’s Edition will receive the FFXIV: ARR Collector’s Edition in-game bonus items (Helm of Light, Baby Behemoth Minion, Behemoth Barding, and Coeurl Mount) for free. The in-game bonus items will be delivered via Moogle Letter when FFXIV: ARR launches.

My question is... What about people whose account used to be a buddy pass which was part of the 1.0 CE? Will they get the items too? o.o

The Square Enix Europe store will continue to add new options for FFXIV: ARR in the coming days (including the physical versions!) so please stay tuned! Alternatively, there are retailers that are currently taking pre-orders for those as well!

May i ask, i have an Asia PSN, will i be able to link with my EU PS3 code?

The Buddy Pass is for all intents and purposes considered a "normal" SE account. The CE items are not tied to it, so you wouldn't qualify for these CE items without paying to upgrade.

Is the CE (physical) going to be available outside the Square Enix store for NA? Nothing personal, but I would rather have it pre-ordered on Amazon or Gamestop.

Only incentive I could think of is to pre-order the ps3 collectors to get all the physical item, art book, cards, music, and pre-order bonuses if they aren't given for 1.0 CE owners. Then with the ps3 code add an extra registration to your account and play two characters simultaneously. As far as we know we don't get the pre-order bonus's and all the cool new physical items.

I'm extremely excited to share the big news with you -- FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn launches worldwide on PS3 and PC on August 27, 2013!

I'm excited but I also have a question/concern!

I'm a legacy member. I want buy the FFXIV ARR Physical collectors edition. My concern is that I won't be able to register my codes from the ARR CE. Am I only able to upgrade to the digital? I hope not, as I want to movie, soundtrack, art book and more.

Its still all one account that allows up to 8 registration codes I believe, so it would apply to the account as a whole I believe. You can also buy extra product codes to add more registration's from the FF14 service center available at release.
Since your able to access your SE account and play on ps3 service account linked to your main; only one sony ps3 account can be linked, once your sony account is registered through the ps3 game, I don't believe its another account separating from your original. I'm gonna keep reading info to be 100% full-proof on this, it gets confusing.

Windows + PlayStation 3: To play a character from each a version simultaneously
- A Square Enix account
- A copy of the Windows version
- A copy of the PlayStation 3 version
*You can register up to eight registration codes per Square Enix account.
*Please create separate service accounts for the Windows version and the PlayStation 3 version of FINAL FANTASY XIV. You will not be able to play at the same time if you register the codes under the same service account. ( Hmm wait if you register the registration/product codes under same service providing account, it won't allow simultaneous play, but it doesn't specifically state all bonus's go to the account as a whole, but since the service account/s is linked to your main SE account it should. sorry your right it still isn't specifically clear till a Dev clarifies:
■Unfortunately, you can only register a single product code (a code that comes with every copy of the PlayStation 3 version) to a Square Enix account. Please do not purchase more than one copy if you are planning to register them under the same Square Enix account.

The only way for you to create multiple service accounts with the PlayStation 3 version is to purchase additional registration codes through the “FFXIV Service Center” website which will be available after launch. Since the bonus items are delivered via Mog mailbox it may be available to all characters that can access the same box within the account.
