Sounds like one PS3 version per SE account, since it's limited to having one game per PSN account. So i need a clarification. Me and my brother both have an SE account. Say my brother buys the PS3 version, can we play on the PS3 with both accounts at different times, provided we have two different Sony Network accounts to tie to each of the SE accounts to? Or would i need to get a second copy of the game? I remember back with XI, I would swap over to his PS2 so i could keep playing, while he used the PC for whatever he might have wanted to do.
It's good that you brought this up, as this happened to me when I preordered the 1.0 CE from SE. Unfortunately, SE cannot control UPS delivery times (which is the shipment they used with me), and I ended up getting my CE at around 7pm on the day of early access launch lol. You'll get it the same day for sure, but morning or evening is completely up to the delivery people, not SE.
I'll be preordering mine from a local shop if I can help it.

I'm really wondering the same thing. I'd like to get the PS3 version so that I can play on whichever system I want (PS3 when family are using my PC for example), but I'd want to apply the pre-order code to my old account and have my old account the one I use on PS3 anyway.Awesome news, just a quick question:
Please note that the pre-order bonus codes are different for the Playstation 3 and Windows versions. Also, please be aware that the number of early access codes will be limited and distribution will cease when the limit has been reached.

What exactly does this imply? As someone who has played since 1.0 and has the old CE I would like to now buy a PS3 version, would I be able to use the code for the Moogle hat and Caitsith minion from the PS3 version pre-order on my old account?
The ps3 version is essentially going to flag your account for use on the system, so you should be able to use all your codes on your old acct.I'm really wondering the same thing. Would you please redirect us to some of these retailers?
I need to pre-order one now before the well goes dry!! xD
All credit goes to the amazing Niqote!
As long as you sign in with that same account on the PS3 version...you should be fine.Awesome news, just a quick question:

I have a question regarding the Standard to Collector edition upgrade option, will this count also as a pre-order?
Which means, if we already own Standard and decide to upgrade to Collectors before December 31, 2013, will we also receive the Pre-Order bonus items?
I also found a small error on the In-Game Items section (http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/product/index.html), once you click More Info to read about every item, For the Coeurl Mount and Behemoth Barding, it looks like the red font information for each of them is changed around.
The Coeurl Mount should be the one saying "* Players will be able to ride mounts once they have reached level 20 and have obtained a chocobo."
And for the Behemoth Barding should say "* Players must first reach level 20 to obtain a chocobo before they can outfit it with barding."

Guess I am lucky there. All my deliveries from UPS arrive by 10:45AM. The reason I asked this question is the fact that SE ships their products via UPS Ground. I am sure that they are well aware of the shipping schedules for various sections of the country. I just wanted to make sure that they were going to take that into account when scheduling. I have had the original PS3 version backordered on Amazon since 10 Aug 2010. If they update their information by Tuesday or Wednsday of next week I will upgrade to the CE there and know I will get it on time. If they don't I will pre-order through SE to make sure I get all the benefits from buying the CE.It's good that you brought this up, as this happened to me when I preordered the 1.0 CE from SE. Yeah you did get lucky there XD Most of my stuff from UPS tends to come in the afternoon ;_;Guess I am lucky there. All my deliveries from UPS arrive by 10:45AM. But they DO deliver on the release day, though.

I'm curious about this as well, mostly b/c I'd want all the bonuses if I digitally upgraded to the collector's edition.
