Remember the armoury chest screenshot posted on the FFXIV Facebook page last week? Of course you do.

We wanted to also mention that the gear set feature itself will be totally revamped! And it will be possible to place gear sets on the hot bar, making it possible to change with a single button.

Just don't set a job change on the hotbar. Being able to change elemental/attribute items on mage jobs in middle of battle sounds like fun

I agree, this is going to make fighting into an overcomplicated minmaxing mess.

mmm i was thinking mobs that can unequip your gear (see lamia, yovra from FFXI) will make a return. But you will have to go into passive mode before you can reequip your gear.
