Windows 8 & FFXIV:ARR Theme?

I love all the art, but the blinding white was killing my eyes. I had to make black versions @.@

A friend did the WAR one in black for me when it was first released, it looks much better! I have 0 skill at stuff like that.

I've been making a ton of custom ones for personal use. Maybe there'll be a better time to share them... like, probably not right in the middle of the IE + x|v joint ad-campaign, I bet would be good. They really are fantastic pieces, though - successful advertising, if I do say so XD

If you do end up fiddling, one thing you might like:
Make a uniform set where they're all the same wallpaper, but each is a different job, alone, leaning against the right wall (you may need to horizontally invert some). You can even use the Summoner artwork released earlier to complete the set. Then put them all into the same Windows theme and have it shuffle between them throughout the day.

Haha, that was the plan! I don't like a messy desktop though (Only have the Recycle Bin on it...) so if I think it looks silly with them all on the right with noting else there I might change them around. Thinking maybe having 4 different wallpapers, with 2 jobs back to back but centred in the middle of the screen.

It's not bad. It just looks like a blank, clean desktop with a character just hanging out. The duos would look good, though. I made one of the Midlander/Roegadyn since we see them together a lot, but I bet there's a few aesthetic match-ups to be had.

Here we go, something I tried to do in 10 mins! (I had no idea what I was doing)
Gonna fiddle around later and make 4 sets of the same style; don't know if I'll use this yet... might need some more glow =$

When I have time later (and when I know what I'm doing...) I'm gonna make the weapons glow~
Nothing will look better than a BLM on a black background with a purple Stardust Rod ;D
