    so "1-2 weeks" has turned into 5. =\

    (supposedly this is because the ps3 version hasn't passed Sony qualification yet)

    Nope. Yoshida mentioned the fact that they have a ton of work to do to transfer characters over without risking bugs and problems, and they want to implement more of the feedback from the beta.
