dont know but the Japanese version is here http://www.twitch.tv/feed_rss/b/396113562 (4:28:00) there more bits but you have to look. (its somewhere around 5:35:00 is more) Reinheart might post the main points here if your lucky.
One quote from your interview:
This could be a little ambiguous when translated- based on some people I have spoken with, it could be misconstrued, and alternately translated into "ideal".We'll be implementing Level Sync in Phase 3. No need to change gears for it too, as stats will auto-adjust accordingly. But will be weaker compared to the optimal gears at the correct level
Optimal: Best possible set.
Ideal: A decent set for success likelihood.
Could you please confirm whether optimal was or was not your intended terminology?
Thanks again![]()
It sounds like what we had in XI as far as gear scaling..if you were synced down from a high lvl job (while wearing, for example, an Adaman Hauberk) to lvl 30, that Adaman Hauberk with scaled down stats woudn't be as strong as lvl 30 gear. One quote from your interview:

I agree that's the general idea, I just was hoping for a smidge of clarity on the matter, lol.
The translation accuracy is the general idea of what's been said before. The synced down gear will be decent, but it will not be as good/optimal as if you were wearing level 30 gear in a lvl 30 dungeon. It's doable, but i'm assuming this was done to keep low level gear somewhat in demand.
I should post here, next live letter, I WON'T be able to do live translation due to the hours it's going to start.
It's on a regular weekday at 6AM my time, I gotta take care of kids and prep for work as well. If anyone can record the video I'll try to work on the translations from work, since it's Friday most likely it's going to be a slow day for me so I should be able to do it then.

Foxclonn answered more CE purchasing questions but no one translate. inside one thing is very tricky...
I want to confirm with this translation:
Foxclonn pretty much said if you have 1.0 normal version, purchasing ARR CE for windows will not give you ingame item because it can't link to your 1.0 account...
I read this from foxclonn post#9
it pretty much say (from google translate): if you have normal 1.0 account, you shouldn't purchase ARR PC CE because it can't be added to your old char. you have 2 options:旧FF14通常版を持っていて、既存キャラクターで
1. buy PS3 CE and tie to 1.0 account (I want CE bonus and that music blueray)
2. buy digital CE upgrade later
edit:
My account is currently a Standard non-legacy 1.0 account

I want the FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition physical bonus items too!
You must purchase a physical Collector's Edition version on PC or PS3 to get the FFXIV:ARR CE physical bonus items. Doing this will also give you access to the pre-order in-game items.
- Buying the PC FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition will not give you access to the FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition in-game items. Purchasing the 'Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade' will also be required to gain access to the Collector's Edition in-game items.
- Alternatively, buying the PS3 FFXIV:ARR Collector's Edition and registering it to your existing account will give you access to the Collector's Edition items without the purchase of the 'Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade' as well as being able to play your characters on PS3.
Thanks for Aki.I'm going to cancel my pre-order of ARR CE for PC... & sorry for the no-translation bump.

You will receive the pre-order items, but the registration code for the Windows collector's edition cannot be used with a pre-existing Windows service account. To receive the in game items for the collector's edition, please use the digital upgrade. What if I bought the old version of FFXIV, and I already have characters on my account, but I'm looking to get the in game pre-order and collector's edition items. If I pre-order the collector's edition, then register the pre-order and collector's edition codes to my existing account, will I be able to get all the in game items?
However, the PS3 version can be registered to an existing Windows account, which would allow you to receive the collector's edition items.
to answer mbncd's concern:
you can like me to purchase ARR CE for PS3. [I canceled my ARR CE for windows with no problem. They didn't charge me yet so there is no refund issue.]
ARR CE for PS3 the code is different than ARR CE for Windows that is tied with CE code and FF14 account together. (That's why you can't use it for old account) You can link the PS3 ARR CE to your other non-CE account. Then, both of your account will have CE status, and you can also enjoy the physical gifts come with it.

Grrrr! SE's taking all of my money! I have 2 accounts, one is CE, the other is non CE from the buddy pass. I bought the CE of ARR thinking I could get the physical goodies including a non phone token for my second account at last, CE digital goodies for my second account, and pre order goodies for my main account. Now it looks like after buying 2 CE's (one for 1.0 and one for ARR), I'm still going to have to buy a CE upgrade ~_~ Blast it! Why couldn't the CE part have just been a separate code that could be added to any account..? I thought that was how they were going to manage the digital upgrade, just hand out spare codes to whoever bought them...big rein, only you can help me / . \
