Unless I seriously misunderstood the post, all the example names given are forenames. Gildrein said they follow French phonetics pretty closely, so that makes sense, since all the names listed sound like French forenames. Also:

Now, you will find that while the structures and spellings of the names are extremely similar, and they follow the same phonetic rules, a Duskwight and a Wildwood Elezen will never have the same last name.
It sounds like there isn't a clear way of telling the clan just by looking at the structure of the last name like there is for the Lalafell. In other words, Louisoix's surname being "Leveilleur" doesn't mean that "eur" is an acceptable suffix for the Wildwood, it means it's an acceptable suffix for Elezen, but that the specific surname "Leveilleur" has been claimed by the Wildwood (but you might find a Duskwight with a surname... like... Moreur, for example).

Good answer, and I agree that they all look like forenames. This is why I was so confused. Also, I guess I didn't mean "eur" is restricted to Wildwood, only that Wildwood have been shown use it. There is nothing to indicate Duskwight can't use "eur".

I don't suppose it'd be right to trouble the dev team for a list of common Elezen surnames, since they so graciously gave us a 450 word Roegadyctionary. I have to admit the surname detail is a pretty moot point since players aren't going to know which have already been used by both clans. It would only seem significant if two NPCs of opposing clans have the same surname, but that would contradict the idea of it "never" happening.
